Interim leadership

From July, 2017 to January, 2019 I served as the interim executive director of the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC). I enjoy helping nonprofits do great work in times of change, and I may also be available to pitch in when a key position becomes unexpectedly vacant. My nonprofit administration skills include:

  • Budget development and management

  • Evaluating current policies and procedures

  • Researching best practices and promising practices

  • Staff assessment, recruitment and retention

  • Board management

  • Government relations

  • Staff recruitment and training

  • Advocacy and fundraising

  • Convening and facilitating community conversations

  • Communicating with stakeholders through blog posts, newsletter stories and op-eds
